We are proud to offer one of the area's BEST warranties as it's easy to stand behind our work because we don't cut corners. Kitchen & Bath Design Center of Maryland hereby warrants to the original purchaser, for residential applications a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY that all of our cabinets and accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty runs for as long as you own your home and begins upon our delivery date to you. This warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of the defective parts at the discretion of KDC, and in some circumstances does not include the labor for removal or replacement – such instances could be if not installed by our team as a core installation*. This warranty does not extend to defects caused by improper handling, storage, self-installation, assembly or disassembly, intentional damage, product modifications, exposure to elements including humidity which may result in warping or splitting, accidental misuse, alterations - non KDC  staff service or modifications, abuse or negligence. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Samples and renderings provided through the design process are for representation only- final results may vary as stains, paints, and materials can change dye lots and appear differently in varying lighting conditions. Natural woods, tile, counters including stone and surfaces either man-made or natural will vary in texture, grain, coloration, and could exhibit subtle changes as they age. For example, wood joints may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area of a cabinet, and colors can lighten or darken with sunlight and cleaning supplies. Aging due to sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original nature. These variations are part of the ownership process and are not deemed a defect covered under our warranty. Materials could require maintenance such as sealing or preventative measures to ensure a quality lasting look or staining, failure to maintain and abide by the manufactures suggested maintenance techniques are not covered. Specific materials have heat tolerances that must be adhered to, or they may split, crack, warp, or break in severe instances. Electronics, automation, appliances, lighting control, fixtures, bulbs, shades and other mechanical devices are backed by a manufacture warranty on the product, and one-year installation warranty by Gramophone. This "limited lifetime warranty" does not include those items and is superseded by our partner's warranty. For instance, most TV's are backed by one-year parts & labor warranty, excluding installation removal and reinstall. Failure during this period would be covered by our partner and white glove service provided by our company to assist with the process.
