DESIGN STYLE

My design style is ever evolving as I think most designers are. Right now I am loving a natural and modern minimalist aesthetic. You could call it bohemian meets nordic/scandinavian.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL GOALS

My professional goals are vast. In my career I’d like to: grow within my company to be a mentor and leader for my team, continue to develop my hard skills to stay competitive amongst my peers, continue to grow my professional network, and stay on top of industry changes in order to be a great resource for my clients.

MY INSPIRATION

Inspiration is everywhere! When working with a client I try to focus on aspects of who they are or what they love to find inspiration for their project. Whether it be a piece of art they own, an architectural detail in their home, or even a hobby they enjoy, there is always something that will provide the spark of inspiration.

WHAT TO CONSIDER

Number one most important thing to consider is “Who”. Who is this space intended to be used by? You need to know and understand how the person, or people, who will use the space are expecting it to function and how to design it to meet their needs.

PROBLEM-SOLVING
IN DESIGN

I am an analytical thinker and problem solver. I love the challenge of design and it’s probably my favorite part of my job. Taking what my clients see as a problem or challenge with their space

and finding solutions that will serve them well for years to come is such a rewarding experience.
