DESIGN STYLE

I would describe my personal design style as a combination of classic and transitional with a touch of European contemporary. This is influenced by my love of English interiors as I was born and raised there.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL GOALS

Since moving from England to the U.S with my husband and 2 teenagers I’ve been having great fun renovating our dream American home. This move has also given me the opportunity to build on my professional career. With a BA Hons in Textile Design/ Furnishings, I’m enjoying utilizing these core skill sets and building knowledge within the kitchen and bath sector.

MY INSPIRATION

Although inspired by grand stately homes I also draw inspiration from every day, whether visiting a restaurant/hotel and noticing what colors/textures and fittings they’ve used, visiting interior stores, books/magazines and of course the internet. I find it fascinating to see how someone else has designed a space and what they may have done differently.

WHAT TO CONSIDER

Being involved within the design process for our clients’ homes is very rewarding. I strive to create a space which is not only personalized but also captures the style and aesthetics of their vision. Afterall, a home is a place where we can be ourselves and should reflect our different personalities and tastes.

IN DESIGN

I have found problem solving becomes easier through research and building knowledge through experience. I enjoy brainstorming as a team which can be effective and a great way to bounce ideas often resulting in a great solution.
